Breastplate
A solid metal plate covering the torso, the breastplate provides the same deflect value as chain armor but with the advantage of presentability when worn with expertise. Many lighteyed officers wear breastplates with decorative engraving and house glyphs, combining martial protection with social propriety.

You can only benefit from one type of armor at once, and you can't put on armor or take it off while in combat. While wearing armor, you stand out in polite society — this might result in getting turned away from certain locations or gaining a Disadvantage on tests to influence civilians in most non-military contexts. Armor with the Presentable trait avoids these social penalties.
