Full Plate
A complete suit of interlocking metal plates covering the entire body. Full plate offers the highest deflect value of any mundane armor, but its extreme weight and bulk require tremendous strength to wear effectively. Full plate is prohibitively expensive and typically reserved for wealthy lighteyed officers and elite soldiers. Forged armor cannot help but fall short of Shardplate's majesty.

You can only benefit from one type of armor at once, and you can't put on armor or take it off while in combat. While wearing armor, you stand out in polite society — this might result in getting turned away from certain locations or gaining a Disadvantage on tests to influence civilians in most non-military contexts. Armor with the Presentable trait avoids these social penalties.
