Shardplate (Radiant)
Radiants of the Fourth Ideal or higher can manifest living Shardplate composed of common spren — these spren usually follow the Radiant unseen, but can be called on to manifest as armor. Radiant Shardplate glows with luminescent light specific to the order's associated spren. Unlike dead Shardplate, it is weightless, lacks the Dangerous trait, and doesn't impede Invested ability tests.

Living Armor: summon or dismiss armor pieces freely. Restraining Armor: summon it around another character within 20 feet. Natural Recovery: regains all charges after a long rest. No Dangerous trait, no disadvantage to Invested tests.
infoWearing Armor
You can only benefit from one type of armor at once, and you can't put on armor or take it off while in combat. While wearing armor, you stand out in polite society — this might result in getting turned away from certain locations or gaining a Disadvantage on tests to influence civilians in most non-military contexts. Armor with the Presentable trait avoids these social penalties.
