Half Plate
Half plate combines a breastplate with additional plates protecting the shoulders, arms, and thighs. This armor offers excellent protection but is heavy and cumbersome. An expert in half plate can manage its weight more effectively, reducing the strength requirement. Half plate is common among cavalry and heavy infantry.

You can only benefit from one type of armor at once, and you can't put on armor or take it off while in combat. While wearing armor, you stand out in polite society — this might result in getting turned away from certain locations or gaining a Disadvantage on tests to influence civilians in most non-military contexts. Armor with the Presentable trait avoids these social penalties.
